SDKBOX Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our” or “SDKBOX”) is a U.S. company that provides mobile game developers with a platform to integrate third-party SDKs, such as AdColony, AdMob, Chartboost, Facebook, Unity Ads, Tune, etc., into their mobile games. Our technology enables customers to easily use and manage these SDKs. We collect and use certain end user and SDK information in the mobile applications to provide, modify or otherwise improve our services, and for third-party mobile advertising optimization purpose. This privacy statement ("Privacy Policy") explains how information (both customers and end users) is collected and utilized by SDKBOX. This Privacy Policy applies to the products provided by SDKBOX, including without limitation, SDKBOX plugins ("Plugins"), SDKBOX website ("Website"), and SDKBOX LiveOps online services ("Online Services").

 

 

GDPR Compliance & THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

SDKBOX is committed to GDPR compliance and will assist our customers be GDPR compliant when using our products. While these specific suggestions will help you comply with GDPR, we also recommend that your consult with your legal counsel for compliance recommendations specific to your product and company.

 

If you have EU users or are based in the EU, GDPR requires you to post a privacy policy, and/or to obtain all required end user consents, and to comply with all applicable laws and self-regulatory guidelines. To assist you, this Privacy Policy contains information of the way SDKBOX processes end user data. In particular, information given to your end users may include the following:

 

  • A link to this Privacy Policy that describes the collection of personal data by SDKBOX;
  • We do not collect GDPR special categories of personal information. Only IDFA or Android Advertising ID and other non personal identifiable device information will be collected and processed in order to enhance the products, and to provide Ads optimization for third party partners based on behavioral targeting (for example: ads for games which are likely played by users);
  • The end user opt-out option is given to users.

 

In addition, SDKBOX includes certain third party SDKs, and referrals to certain third-party services. Please be aware that we do not endorse and cannot ensure that the third-party’s privacy policies will govern their activities and any information they collect. You are responsible for ensuring that you have legitimate interests and/or a valid consent for the end user information being sent to the third-party services selected by you. You may check if the third-party service provides the capability to control the collection of data based on user consent. We strongly encourage you to make investigation before the acquisition of any third-party SDKs through SDKBOX’s products and services. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

This section describes the end user information we collect and use through our products.

 

Customer Registration

During the registration process on our Sites, you may be asked for certain information, which may include your name, your email address, the company for which you work, and a password. This registration information is used to validate customers when they visit the Sites. It may also be used to send you additional promotional information about our services. We store all data associated with your account, including your contact information, your applications, and any information that you provided to the third-party services that you choose. We may also collect certain types of information automatically, including through the use of Cookies. You can control or disable the use of cookies at the individual browser level on your device.

 

SDK Plugins and Online Services

When a consumer downloads and uses an application that contains SDKBOX’s Plugins or otherwise interacts with SDKBOX’s Online Services, we may collect certain end user information including the following:

 

  • SDKBOX plugin version;
  • Game engine type and version;
  • Mobile operating system info;
  • Mobile device model and configuration;
  • Mobile advertising identifier, like IDFA or Android Advertising ID;
  • Mobile application name and bundle ID;
  • Third-party SDK type, version, and API calls/errors interacting with mobile applications;
  • IP address of mobile device.

 

We collect and use information to administer and assist customers with theirs Online Services account, and to provide a better experience with the SDKBOX products. We encourage consumers to learn about how information can be used and how to exercise their choices to permit or, if they prefer, to opt out this information collection in the Opt Out section below.

 

 

INFORMATION SHARING OR DISCLOSURE

We may share and/or monetize aggregated and anonymous end user information with third parties with whom we have a strategic relationship. The information shared with these third parties may be used for industry analysis, or improving advertising conversions.

 

We will disclose information about you or your end users to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of SDKBOX or any third-party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable.

 

In addition, we may disclose information to third parties in connection with a corporate reorganization, merger or amalgamation, or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

 

Except as stated above, we do not share, sell, or lease Information about customers and end users to any third-party entities. SDKBOX contractually prohibits its contractors, affiliates, vendors and suppliers from disclosing information received from SDKBOX, other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

 

End User Opt-Out

End user can opt-out of sending data to SDKBOX and receiving any interest-based advertising from SDKBOX’s partners with the options below by accessing the "settings" on the Apple or Android mobile devices:

 

  • Apple devices refer to an ad ID as the Identifier for Advertising, or “IDFA.” For instructions to reset the IDFA on an iOS device, visit this link: 
  • Android devices refer to ad ID as the Google Ad ID, or “GAID.” For instructions to reset the GAID on an Android device, visit this link.  

 

Please be aware that opting out of SDKBOX does not necessarily imply opting out of any other third-party's products and services available on our website.

 

 

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

We make good faith efforts to prevent any loss, misuse or alteration to your account or any of your information or end user information, while we cannot guarantee such occurrences will not occur. We do not warrant or represent that data will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties.

 

 

COMMUNICATIONS

It is our policy to provide communications, whether such communications are required by law or are for marketing or other business related purposes, to our customers via e-mail notice, written or hard copy notice, or through posting of such notice on our Sites, as determined by us in our sole discretion. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to our customers.

 

 

INFORMATION OF MINORS

SDKBOX is not intended for persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personally-Identifying Information from or about children, and we do not knowingly market our products or services to children.

 

 

DATA TRANSFER

We store and process information in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States and choose to provide information to us and enable us to collect information from your end users, you hereby consent to the transfer of such information to the United States.

 

 

DATA RETENTION & DELETION

We store and process information for up to 13 months. End user information is destroyed after that period of time. To access and erase data so that privacy rights are maintained, please submit a request by email at privacy@sdkbox.com. Request will be honored within 30 days from original submission.
